Performance

The 2018 Santa Fe Sport is No. 1 in its class in horsepower, according to Kelley Blue Book. The base engine is a 2.4-liter inline-4 that produces an impressive 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. There’s also a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 option that makes 240 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Both options come standard with a 6-speed Shiftronic automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, with available all-wheel drive.

The regular engine gets an EPA-estimated 21 MPG city and 27 MPG highway, while the turbocharged option gets up to 20 MPG city and 28 MPG highway.
